We conduct research on the establishment of a policy support system to promote industrial digital transformation including conducting surveys, studying regulatory reform and institutional improvements, and exploring and studying collaboration business models between manufacturing companies and data·AI companies

EU has been promoting industrial data-driven manufacturing innovation since 2011, with a focus on Germany. They have been working on establishing policies for data cloud infrastructure, data ownership, and governance, among other initiatives

Japan, like other countries, recognizes industrial data as a valuable source for creating value and sees it as a foundation for the next-generation industries. They are working on establishing legal frameworks and support systems for industrial data utilization including regulations, budget allocation, tax incentives and financial support

In January 2022, South Korea enacted the 「Industrial Digital Transformation Promotion Act」 to address the limitations of the existing 「Three Data Acts」 and create momentum for the utilization and application of industrial data and AI in various industries

It becomes evident that additional policy measure are necessary to further promote industrial digital transformation as various stakeholders express their opinions on regulatory reform and institutional improvements

  • Making policy proposals and suggestions through academic research on digital industry policies
  • Promoting and disseminating digital industry policies through various activities
